Privacy policy

This page explains what Wekly stores, why it is used, and the choices available to you.

Information Wekly handles

  • Account details, including your email address and password hash.
  • Planner content such as task titles, notes, tags, subtasks, dates, and completion history.
  • Optional calendar connection details when you enable CalDAV synchronisation.
  • Hashed connection tokens and recent-use timestamps when you connect Codex or another supported client.
  • Payment identifiers supplied by Stripe when you purchase Wekly Plus.
  • Sponsor application details, including contact information, submitted creative, and destination links.
  • Aggregate impression and click counts for active sponsored placements. Wekly does not share your planner content with sponsors.
  • Basic operational and AI-usage measurements used to run and improve the service.

How information is used

Wekly uses this information to provide your planner, authenticate your account, synchronise optional calendars, process subscriptions, answer requests you make through connected tools, review and report on sponsorships, prevent abuse, and maintain the service.

Service providers

Wekly relies on service providers including Vercel for hosting, Neon for database infrastructure, Stripe for payments, and OpenAI when you use AI features. Optional CalDAV synchronisation sends task information to the calendar provider you configure.

Connected clients and API tokens

A connected client can access and change planner data within the permissions offered by Wekly. API token secrets are displayed once and stored only as hashes. You can revoke a token from User settings → Connections.

Retention and your choices

Planner and account information is retained while your account is active or as needed to operate the service and meet legal obligations. You can revoke connections at any time. To request account-data access, correction, export, or deletion, contact suggestions@wekly.lol.

Security and changes

Wekly uses technical and organisational safeguards intended to protect account data, but no online service can promise absolute security. Material changes to this policy will be reflected on this page with a revised date.
